Federal Conference NVSBE 2019 Housing Policy
Please note that all registration fees include a $200 discount for attendees who stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center within the official NVSBE 2019 room block. Attendees that have not booked a hotel room in the official NVSBE 2019 room block by the time the conference is over will be charged $200 USD to their credit card on file immediately following the conference.
What Your Registration Includes
Registration includes access to all activities; including the Monday and Tuesday evening receptions, the Exhibit Hall during show hours, and access to Wi-Fi while in the Gaylord conference center. Lunch is included Tuesday and Wednesday and refreshments are available during morning and afternoon breaks each day (e.g., beverages and light snacks).
Additionally, with the remittance of one (1) registration, a VA Verified Veteran Owned Small Business, that is also a member of a Veteran Service Organization (VSO), can receive one (1) complimentary table to be used by the VSO. The table will be placed in a high-traffic area. This feature will be available until the available space is exhausted. First-come, first served. If you desire to receive one (1) complimentary table for one (1) VSO, please email confirmation of your paid registration and the name of the one (1) VSO which will utilize the table to skyle@federalconference.com. Please indicate in the subject line of your email “VSO Request for a Complimentary Table.”
Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy
By adhering to the following cancellation procedure, cancellations will be permitted according the following cancellation date and fee schedule:
- Cancellation requests made by November 9, 2019 are entitled to a full refund, less a $75 administrative fee.
- Cancellation requests made between November 10, 2019 and November 26, 2019 will receive a refund less a late cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the full registration amount paid.
- No cancellations will be accepted after November 26, 2019.
If your registration was complimentary, you will not be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel. Requests must be received in writing by the NVSBE team via email to support@federalconference.com. Cancellation requests made via phone will not be honored.
All refunds are issued via the same method used for payment. Refunds are processed within 30 days after the conclusion of the meeting. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued after November 26, 2019, or for no-shows. You may transfer your registration to a colleague if circumstances prevent you from attending the conference. Please see below for details about transferring a registration.
The cancellation fee and deadline do not apply to government registrations. Government registrations will receive full refunds at any time. Please send cancellation requests to support@federalconference.com.
Registration Transfer
To transfer your registration, please provide the following information to support@federalconference.com: current registrant's name, the substitute's full name (prefix and suffix), position title, email address, work address, work phone number, cell phone number and an emergency contact name and phone number. If the substitute's registration category is different from the original registrant, the registration fee difference will be charged to the credit card on file. Registration transfers are not permitted for requests that also require a change in payment option for a fully paid registration (no credits to a credit card and charging to another are permitted without incurring a $75 administrative fee).
Photography, Audio Recordings & Video Policy
NVSBE plans to take photographs, audio and video recordings during the event and reproduce them in educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media. By participating in NVSBE, you grant the right to use your name or voice, photograph and biography for such purposes to Department of Veterans Affairs, Direct Access Program and NVSBE.
Collection of Fees
National Conferencing, Inc. DBA Federal Conference., is permitted to charge registration and other fees pursuant to a no-cost contract between it and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under which it shall provide event execution for the NVSBE with no obligation to the VA.
