14. My company sells “X” is it worth it for me to come to a DAP Event?

The opportunities presented by PDMs vary and are dependent on the product and service needs forecasted. Suppliers are strongly encouraged to review the list of PDMs scheduled to attend, along with the PDM’s procurement opportunities. NVSBE is a great place for business-to-business networking, as this event provides the opportunity for participants to identify teaming partners and sub-contractors.

15. Do you have to be VA CVE-verified to attend NVSBE?

While being CVE-verified is not required for suppliers to attend, it is required for a supplier to receive a contract designated as a “Veteran set-aside”. The VA has product and service needs which extend beyond Veteran set-aside opportunities. While NVSBE is intended to help PDMs conduct market research and emphasizes Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, the event is NOT intended for Veteran’s only.

16. Can Non-VOSBs attend NVSBE?

Yes, there are other socioeconomic categories PDMs are looking to engage. This is an event for all socio-economic categories.
