About the Program Office

The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General (VAOIG) Investigative Development Division (IDD) is focused on procurement and construction fraud against the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In addition to investigating cases involving procurement and construction fraud VAOIG investigates fraud, waste, and abuse in the wide range of VA programs along with threats against VA personnel and property.  VA OIG has made criminal arrests and effected monetary recovery from procurement and construction fraud cases.
