The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov. Verizon, in collaboration with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), Direct Access Program (DAP), will host a virtual business opportunity session.

We’ve leveraged our 5G technologies in robotics, sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), and video monitoring. We’ve sharpened our focus on accelerating product development in fast-growing markets such as the IoT. We’ve created Innovation Centers to work with product and software developers to embed our network capabilities in a new generation of healthcare solutions and 5G Labs to encourage local innovators to rethink what is possible in a 5G world.
