Event Overview

Verizon, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), invites you to a virtual business opportunity session.

This session is designed for capability-driven small businesses with a proven track record in federal subcontracting.

Why Attend?

Verizon is interested in informing the VA small business community about what Verizon can offer and how they are supporting the VA’s modernization initiatives.

Verizon’s Wireless Connectivity Program allows our partners to connect their products and solutions to Verizon’s expansive nationwide network. With Verizon’s investment improving coverage on VA campuses, industry will have strong connectivity with mobility solutions through secure connectivity.

Business partners with specialized wireline network, cybersecurity, and physical IT infrastructure capabilities may be a good fit for partnership. Small businesses with expertise in fiber deployment, inside/outside plant (ISP/OSP) wiring, network installation, SD-WAN management, or holding prime slots on major VA IT vehicles (e.g., T4NG2, GSA MAS) can partner with Verizon to deliver end-to-end wireline and wireless solutions.

Target Business Capabilities

  • Wireless & EMDS Mobility: Mobile devices, MDM software, ruggedized accessories, cellular IoT, and frontline response tools.
  • Wireline & Enterprise IT Infrastructure: Managed SD-WAN, Private IP routing, optical networking, Ethernet services, and structured cabling/ISP/OSP fiber installation at VA facilities.
  • Cybersecurity & Zero Trust Wireline Edge: SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), ICAM/Zero Trust architectures, and DDoS mitigation.
  • Unified Communications & Contact Center: Cloud Contact Center (CCaaS) integrations, VoIP/SIP trunking, and VA telehealth/clinical collaboration tools.
  • Smart Campus & Physical Security: Building automation, video surveillance transport, asset tracking, and smart hospital IoT integrations.
  • Wireless Connectivity Partners

About Verizon

Verizon works with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and partners to help achieve the VA’s mission. The VA uses Verizon dedicated Public Sector Frontline services and priority network to help keep onsite, remote and hybrid workforces connected.

Verizon operates the nation’s most reliable 4G and 5G network supporting the VA’s digital transformation. Verizon helped Palo Alto Medical Center became the first fully enabled 5G hospital in the country. The new network enables advanced clinical capabilities, including augmented reality-assisted presurgical guidance.

Beyond our industry-leading mobile and 5G networks, Verizon delivers robust enterprise wireline capabilities—including Software-Defined Wide-Area Networking (SD-WAN), Private IP, high-speed optical connectivity, Cloud Contact Center (CCaaS) solutions, and Zero Trust security architectures.

From powering remote healthcare delivery via VA Video Connect to supporting campus infrastructure and emergency communications, Verizon ensures secure, reliable connectivity from hospital to home. Verizon is seeking innovative small business partners—across both wireline and wireless domains—to complement their federal portfolio and co-create next-generation solutions for Veterans.
