Capabilities Narrative: Uptown Press, Inc. exists to serve you, the customer. You will always find your contact cheerfully ready to help make your next design and print project as easy, hassle-free and affordable as possible.
Our Design and customer service employees bring a combined 150 years of technical knowledge and experience to each design project. The Sales and Customer Service personnel are second to none. Clients are assigned to a Sales & Customer Service Team to ensure that their project is handled effectively and efficiently, with a premium on communication. These Teams also serve as our Quality Control Department, and are empowered – and encouraged – to be advocates for the client when evaluating the quality and specifications of each job before it leaves our facility.
Manufacturing Capabilities
In 2003, Uptown Press moved operations to its current location; a 30,000 square foot production facility located on W. 23rd Street in Baltimore, MD. The acquisition of the production facility provided Uptown Press with a means of expanding its services from the smaller machines used for printing letterheads to a larger market segment: the 40” large-press market. Further, with more space and equipment, Uptown Press was able to greatly expand its bindery production capabilities (reducing its need to send things out to others), mailing operations, warehousing opportunities and direct sign making with UV printing directly on the surface of materials.
